Sintech now have a large team with decades of experience in the design of gasoline
and diesel engines, transmissions and systems, integrating application of the car. Our designers work in co-design with the most prestigious car companies for the launch of brand new engines.
The team also has people dedicated to the activities of enviroment and instrument construction for testing and calibration of engines on the bench and on the car.
Electric motors, electric drives, battery-packs, applications on the car: a large group
of Sintech’s designers is engaged in the research and development of innovative
systems for electric traction of new cars with hybrid engines or fully electric traction, for new Italian builders and for historical European, US and Asian brands.
Sintech has also acquired know-how in the design of 2 and 4-stroke engines by participating in the development of 1187 cc twin-cylinder 4-valve engines by co-designing with one of the most prestigious italian brands of Motorcycle powertrains.
With their sound knowledge of the 3D Unigraphics environment, Sintech Engineering engineers have developed methodologies and modelling of engine-gearbox units and more complex parts (cylinder heads, castings, dies), and also the environment for FEM thermo-fluid dynamics simulations.
Sintech has acquired Know-how and extensive experience in MARINE ENGINE design, in the merchant, offshore, cruise & ferry, naval and special vessel sectors by co-designing together with the most prestigious multinational company that also produces Power, Oil and Gas Plant propulsion systems. It is the maker of the largest gas engine in the world, a four-stroke Otto cycle engine with electric power > 18,300 kW.
Some Sintech engineers are even transferred to Finland for long periods of time to develop these activities using CAD3D I-DEAS and Teamcenter PDM systems.
